Apawthecary Pets Full Spectrum Hemp Terpene Oil

Available in 30ml bottles containing 4mg up to 30mg hemp terpenes, unflavoured or Bacon flavoured:
a non-allergen organic bacon flavouring (0.0009 ml per 30ml bottle) comprised of Medium-Chain Triglycerides (min 65%) and Natural Hickory Flavouring (min 25%)

For general health maintenance 0.1 mg per kg twice daily.

For severe or aggressive conditions: up to 2mg – 5mg per kg twice daily

Start at maintenance dosing, increasing every 3 days until desired effect achieved

For pets with seizures, slowly raise the dosage to 1mg per kg of dogs weight. Start slow and increase dose gradually every 3 days. It is hard, with these seizures, to determine the optimum dose but you’ll know when the pup has seizures so will know whether to increase the dosage.  Once seizure free, keep them at this dosage.

Note: The Endocannibinoid System is self regulating and by feeding it, the system will work on the worst issue first. There may be an underlying issue so the results may not be noticeable at first. As that issue is repaired it will move onto to the next issue. Some see a difference with just one dose/treat administration, some may take longer.

How do hemp terpenes work?
It is derived from hemp (not marijuana hybrids) and is 100% natural, completely safe and non-toxic. It will never get your pets “high”.

This supplemental remedy activates the endocannabinoid system (ECS) which is involved in almost every system in your pet’s body: cardiovascular, digestion, relaxation, inflammation, and even the cognitive and memory functions. The ECS is controlled by receptors, which scientists call the CB1 and CB2 receptors. This works directly with the ECS system by “antagonizing” the CB1 and CB2 receptors. CB1 receptors are one of the most abundant receptors in the brain and are found in almost every neuron in the body. CB2 receptors are found almost exclusively in the immune system.
These receptors allow for two-way communication between a various body systems, which is why they are so effective at treating spasmodic, inflammatory, pain, anxiety and many other health issues.
When the ECS is turned on, it’s the only time our body is experiencing 2-way communication. So rather than our brain guessing where to send immune system help, our body can communicate to the brain where it needs help.

Special Note: There may be an issue the pet parent isn’t even aware of so the results may not be noticeable at first. As that issue is repaired it will move onto to the next issue. We have yet to find a customer that hasn’t seen an improvement, eventually, and all it takes is a little patience. Some see a difference with one treat, or one dose of oral drops, some may take longer. Some dogs who have epilepsy will stop having seizures after one dosage, those who are anxious and nervous may calm down after a week and some senior dogs who no longer can walk without pain will get up and play after a few days. It all depends on the pup and the issues.

Many opt to use both treats and oral drops.

Apawthecary Pets treats are baked at low temperatures using human grade ingredients: oat flour, chana flour, rolled oats, apple sauce, beef broth, powdered milk, hemp protein powder, hemp hearts, eggs, coconut oil, hemp oil, and cinnamon. The only preservative we use is Vitamin E.
