TERMS OF USE: 

• Parking while using park: Pawzone visitors are required to park on the shoulder of the road in front the leash free park (on King St-tons of free parking!), not in the store parking lot.
  The store parking lot has limited space and is reserved for Creature Comfort clients who are often carrying heavy cases of raw food or bags of pet food, and for deliveries to our front door.  Other commercial tenants also use this parking lot.
• 2 Dog Limit – Owners may bring in no more than two dogs per adult unless during a private reservation or with previous approval. Always keep your dog in sight and within voice range.
  
• Dog Supervision- No dog may be in the leash free area alone/unsupervised/without their owner - minimum 18 years of age- supervising it at all times. Owner (18+yrs) must be present and in control of dog(s) at all times.
  
• Children must be under the constant supervision of an adult and are the sole responsibility of the adult.  Children may not be solely supervising dogs.
  
• Wear Collar/Harness– All dogs must wear a collar or harness to ensure that the owner may immediately gain control in the event that any issues occur. Collars – Pinch (prong), spike or shock collars are NOT allowed in the play area for the safety of all.
  
• Leash - Always carry a leash even in the leash-free area. You never know when you may need it.
• Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting pawzone. Dogs may not be off leash outside of Pawzone.
• Stop & Scoop is mandatory – All owners must provide poop bags and clean up after their dogs and place fecal matter in the designated containers. Please be courteous and respectful of this space, it is a privilege, not a right.
• Toys, Food & Glass Containers – No glass in the park whatsoever
  *Alcohol beverages or marijuana products are forbidden.
  
• Stash the Trash – Please leave the leash free area clean, place garbage in the containers provided. If you bring containers or toys etc for your own use, please take them back home with you.
• Restricted Dogs – Dogs in heat, dogs who are ill or carrying parasites such as worms or fleas are to be kept out of the area. Puppies fresh from the breeder are not permitted, they must be dewormed/vaccinated at your own vet prior to registering/using the park due to infectious diseases.
• Aggressive/reactive dogs are welcome to attend only for a private reservation with their own family/safe dogs when there are no other dogs or people in the park. 30 minute private reservations are available at no charge to ensure everyone’s safety. The link to reserve will be sent to you after your membership registration is confirmed.
• Designated Dogs – must comply with all terms of their designation including any leashing or muzzling requirements while other dogs/people are present in the park.
• Banned Dogs & People – Any person or dog that has been banned from the area by staff or tenants of this address shall not enter or remain in the area. This is private property and trespassing, theft or vandalism will be prosecuted. Security cameras are throughout the property and remotely recorded.
• Professional Dog Trainers – may not use this facility for the conduct of their business without express permission from the owner of Creature Comfort Pet Emporium to reserve the space.
• Pets & Animals – No animals other than dogs are permitted in the leash free area.
  
• Aggressive behaviour – If a dog or dog owner starts acting aggressively or with dominance towards others (people or dogs) dogs must be leashed and removed immediately from the site/humans will be asked to leave. No dogs are allowed that have previously bitten or injured a person or another animal.

PAWZONE PRIVATE DOG PARK TERMS OF USE:

• Control your Dog – Dogs must be under voice control and are not allowed to disturb or chase people/other dogs nor to destroy or dig up turf or under fencing. Don't let your dog harass other dogs or people or damage the property please.
• An ashtray is located on the fence inside the park . Please DO NOT throw cigarette butts on the ground (dogs could burn their feet or eat them and may become very ill!)
• Dog owners /persons using this park do so with the understanding that they personally assume all risks and liabilities related to play area, property usage, injury to themselves or others or injuries to their dogs or others.  By signing this registration agreement, you understand and accept that use of this private property is at your own risk, owners and tenants will not be held liable nor responsible in any way.
• We do accept private reservations of half hour increments. Those with a reservation have exclusive use of the park during their reserved time. PLEASE check the online reservation site prior to coming to be sure the park is available.
• ALL updates for park news, temporary closures etc will be posted in our Pawzone group. You are strongly recommended to follow/join this group to be sure not to miss any updates to lock code changes, temporary closures and other important news. We will not be contacting each member privately to update.

• For the health and wellness of all dogs, we do not provide water bowls for park use to avoid cross contamination. You may bring your own bowls and use the tap at the side of the building on the parking lot side to access fresh cold water (seasonal use)
  
  

WARNING:

All persons using the Pawzone Play Area use this Area at their own risk. Creature Comfort Canada is not responsible for, and accepts NO liability for, any injuries, loss or damage claimed or suffered by any person or animal related to the access and use of this Area or property, howsoever caused.

Supervision of and mediating of park activities is done by video surveillance only. Staff is not responsible for any activities within the park. We do reserve the right to ask any members and their dogs to leave the property for failure to comply with all rules.

Failing to comply with any of these regulations may result in being permanently banned from using the Pawzone Play Area.

Access to the park is by coded lock entry, available only to approved, registered members.
Pawzone access may be withdrawn if terms of use have been breached or at park owner’s discretion without notice.

Your access code is NOT to be shared, loaned nor given to anyone other than yourself.
***All household members or friends who come along must also be first registered personally.

Visitors who access the park using another members code, without prior registration and approval of the park owner, may be asked to leave and the person who shared their code will lose their rights to access the park.

Please be respectful and courteous.

This park is private property, a service for dog owners to enjoy peacefully, and is a privilege, not a right.
